Privacy Policy

Super Yacht Interiors (“SYI”, “we”, “us”) designs, engineers, produces and installs bespoke interiors for superyachts and luxury residences from our facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

When you send us an enquiry. Our enquiry form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number (with its dialling code) and a message. We receive whatever you choose to include.

Technical details sent with an enquiry. When the form is submitted we also record your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string alongside it. We use these only to detect and block spam and abuse.

When you browse. Like any website, ours receives standard technical information from your browser (IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and when). Our hosting provider uses it to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Visit statistics. We count visits to the site ourselves, without cookies. For each page viewed, and each click on our “Get in touch” button, we record the page, the website you came from, your country (derived from your IP address, which we do not store) and your device type, with an anonymous identifier that changes every day. That identifier is a one-way code made from your IP address and browser details together with a secret that rotates daily, so it cannot be traced back to you or used to follow you from one day to the next. We use these records only to see, in aggregate, how many people visit, what they look at and how many get in touch. Our hosting provider’s privacy-friendly analytics also count page views, referring sites, countries and device types in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying you.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, financial or identity documents. Please do not include it in an enquiry.

This website does not set cookies, and it does not use your browser’s storage to recognise or track you. We use no advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking tools.

If that changes, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything non-essential is used.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
• To prepare proposals and quotations you have asked for.
• To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
• To protect the website and enquiry form from spam, fraud and misuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making, and we will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis for processing, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, for visitors in Europe, the EU and UK GDPR, we rely on:

• Steps you ask us to take before a contract: replying to your enquiry and preparing a proposal.
• Our legitimate interests: running and securing our website, answering business enquiries and understanding how the site is used. We balance these against your rights and do not rely on them where your interests override ours.
• Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information by law.
• Consent: where we ask for it. You may withdraw it at any time.

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and on our instructions:

• Vercel hosts and delivers the website, runs the service that receives enquiries, and provides our cookie-free analytics.
• Resend delivers each enquiry to our team by email.
• Neon hosts the secure database in which enquiries and visit statistics are stored.
• Cloudflare (cdnjs) and jsDelivr are content delivery networks that serve the software behind our interactive globe. As with any web request, they receive your IP address and browser details when your browser fetches those files.

We may also disclose information to our professional advisers, to a successor in the event of a business reorganisation, or where the law, a court or a regulator requires it. Within SYI, access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

Some of our service providers process information in the United States and other countries outside the UAE and Europe. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses and data processing terms.

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any project that follows, and then for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a contract or the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, accounting records).

Technical and security logs are kept by our hosting provider for short periods. Visit statistics are kept for up to 24 months and do not identify you; hosting analytics are aggregated.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you,
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete,
• ask us to delete it,
• object to or ask us to restrict how we use it,
• receive it in a portable format, and
• withdraw consent you have given.

To make a request, email hello@superyachtinteriors.com. We will reply within 30 days, and may need to confirm your identity first. You may also complain to your data protection authority: in the UAE, the UAE Data Office; in Europe, the supervisory authority where you live or work.

The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, enquiries are stored with a reputable provider, and access is restricted to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our site may link to other websites, such as publications that have featured our work. Their own privacy policies apply to them, not this one.

We may update this policy as our website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
